Time sure flies, especially when you are running after a toddler also. I have enjoyed getting to know Carter. Here are a few things he has taught me in the last 3 months.1. He IS NOT his brother, in fact most everything he does is completely opposite of his brother at this age. 2. He is pretty laid back, when he gets his way, and he lets you know what he does and doesn't like. 3. He LOVES to watch your face. He will lay there and study your face as long as you let him. His facial expressions will change along side yours. 4. He hates to be cold. 80 degrees is his preferred temperature in the house (lucky us! We don't keep it at that but make sure he stays bundled and layered) 5. He loves to be rocked and walked around the house. He will not take a pacifier but will be perfectly content walking around. 6. He loves watching his brother. 7. Bath time is a favorite time. He loves his hair washed! 8. His favorite position is being held over your left shoulder and held tight against you. 9. He would rather it be completely quiet at bedtime without any bedtime songs or background noise, left alone to unwind in peace. 10. Long walks in the stroller are a good time to catch up on needed sleep, but the stroller MUST keep moving at all times. 11. He loves watching and sucking on his hands. 12. He is tickleish under his rib cage. 13. He will laugh at you when you play peek-a-boo with him. 14. He, just his week, discovered how interesting the world around him is and insists to be sitting or standing watching it. No more laying on us and relaxing. He will exercise on his play mat also. 15. His favorite person in the whole wide world is his mom!! (really it is, I am not just saying that since this is my post)
Happy 3 month, Carter! I am so glad you are with us and teaching us new things everyday. I love you!
