There is something to say about living in the midwest. Granted we don't have the beautiful beaches of the coasts, dry weather of the West, the great shopping of New York, LA or Chicago but there is something about here people treat each other here in the Midwest. As an example, we stopped at this little gas station in the middle of nowhere on our way to Circleville Ohio (The Circleville Pumpkin Show - see next post). There was this massive - MASSIVE columbine (I think it's what it's called) fueling up next to us. Being as Evan absolutely loves tractors and the fact he did his little giggle when he saw this thing, I knew what I had to do. My first "mom your embarrasing me" moment, except he still is too young to know what that is yet. I got out of the truck and asked the operator if we could walk around the tractor for a minute. And his answer if the reason for this post, he said " sure and the ladder is down if you want to take your son up to the cab." That is why I love the midwest. People are just more friendly here! So I climbed up with Evan to the cab so he could "drive" this massive piece of equipment. Here are some pics. Our truck is in the background so you can get an idea of how large this was. The tire was taller than our truck.
