Well not exactly! I knew that Carter would most likely not enjoy his first taste of solid food and he did not disappoint me. Considering it was a war between both of us to get him to take a bottle (at 10 weeks of age!!), I knew that he might hand me the same resistance again when messing with his eating habits. As you will see in the pics he started out okay with the situation until he actually realized that something foreign was in his mouth. He tried to be a good sport about it, each time he started to fuss, Jeremy and I would make a big deal and applaud his efforts, which would make him giggle until he would realize that the foreign substance was still in his mouth, and we would start the whole thing over again. Until he got fed up and didn't care that we were applauding. He decided he was finished being a good sport and threw a fit. But once the mess was cleaned up and the carrots put away, my charming little man returned and he decided that the high chair was his favorite new place to hang out. I put all the pics in that we took so you can get the full effect of how the trauma unfolded! After the trauma, he did forgive us and hung out with Jeremy a little while on the couch, as happy as could be. I also threw in some pics of the bath afterward since he was wrapped up so cute! He loves the end when we wrap him up and cuddle!
