Evan's pain tolerance is going to kill me one day. The kid doesn't feel any - ever! Which can be a good thing and obviously a bad thing. Evan has had 4 ear infections since entering this world, and I knew about 1 of them. The other 3 were accidental, as in, we were already at the doctor's for other reasons and while the doctor is doing the overall wellness check, they inform me that he has an ear infection.
I promise Doctor, I am NOT a negligent mother!
Well, today was no different. I took Evan in to get his ear looked at because he hasn't been able to hear out of it. Translation - the kid has my jacked up ear genes. And I knew that he probably needed to get them flushed out. And let me just gross you out a little bit - the size of the piece of junk that came out of his ear was the size of Montana! And after he could hear again, the doctor took a look to make sure all the wax was out of his ear and said, "Oh he has an ear infection! Has he mentioned that his ear has been hurting?....Are you sure he hasn't mentioned anything?"
Yeah doc, he has mentioned it and I have chosen to ignore. GEEZ! NO he hasn't mentioned it because I don't think he has any working nerve endings in his entire body! So apparently, I am a delinquent mother and my son has a double ear infection and eye infection to show for it!
