All right...so when we decided to go to this pumpkin festival, we thought it would be a small little festival, in a small little town, where we could find a pumpkin and enjoy some food. Holy cow were we wrong! This thing was HUGE and completely out of control. It was the size of a county fair. We went on a Friday thinking there wouldn't be as many people, we were wrong about that too. There were wall to wall people which normally would discourage me but it was even more interesting with a double stroller the size of a small semi truck. We stood in long lines, fought the cold weather, kept Evan from taking a nap, had a blow out diaper incident (with a new outfit needed) and ate as much as we could without getting sick. Awww, fall festival time is great! This was Evan's first time at a carnival and old enough to ride rides. As I am standing in an extremely slow moving line (with a child who didn't have a nap) to let Evan ride on a motorcycle carousel, I am wondering why we are doing this. Then as he is on this ride, it hit me, why we were doing this. Check out the video and you will see why we did (along with all of those other crazy parents). Click on the "festival" link below.
We met up with our friends Tricia and Ben and Jan and Sonja and their kids. We did have a great time experiencing the craziness together with friends. And getting a little crazy ourselves. Here are some pics from the day.
