A fun, self-initiated project that just kinda kept going...I was missing the old NBA All-Star logos that had some personality and flavor of the host city. So, I decided to take a stab for 2020 in Chicago. I started with a typical skyline, but it felt too expected. I eventually arrived at this approach, taking inspiration from Chicago signage, especially the Chicago Theater.
