Wednesday night I had a date night with one of my very best friends, Deanna. She scored some tickets to the District Dine Around sponsored by the Miami Valley Restaurant Association. We had a great evening touring the streets of the Oregon District. If you are not from the Dayton Area, the Oregon District is a artsy strip that houses small art shops/galleries, some amazing restaurants, beautifully restored historical homes and is the current home of Forge :-) and our Home Church!! So right there, is a reason that the Oregon District is cool!
We started the evening off by enjoying the Color of Energy Art Gallery with appetizers from Jay's Seafood - YUMMY!! Then we toured an Oregon District Mansion which was BEAUTIFULLY restored! Then we were split into two groups, one headed to Side Bar for dinner and we got to enjoy Coco's Bistro. Then we all met up again for dessert at Thai 9.
What a fun and relaxing evening! If you are interested in the next District Dine Around which is going to be on August 18 click HERE. Tickets are on sale now.
