We are having issues with honesty in our household. And of course 2 extremes are happening. Remember when I posted about Evan being so honest? You don't? Well it was over a year ago, so go check out that post, then come back here. I'll wait ;-)!
Okay, so I just assumed that Carter would follow in his older brother's shoes and I wouldn't have a problem with honesty in this house. OH WAS I WRONG.
"Carter, did you turn the lights off?"
"No mom!" (as his finger is still on the switch)
"Carter did you lock all the doors, then shut them all?"
"What? No mama." (he has a thing for locking doors and Evan informing us that he saw him do it)
"Carter did you put your toys away?"
"Uh huh!" (toys still all over the floor)
So as you can see, Carter doesn't tell the truth very often. Can't he learn from his big brother...
"Evan, did you hit Carter?"
"Well mom, yes, I hit Carter then threw him off the couch and then stepped on him. That is why he is crying."
Evan is too honest, to a fault!
So of course, since they are completely opposite of each other, I don't know why I would expect anything different.
Eek! I am in trouble!
