Evan has developed a love for trains - unfortunately. Don't get me wrong, I really don't mind his new interest, it just becomes a never ending cycle of buying this piece and that piece. I was just hoping we would skip that phase and not have to clutter the house even more than it already is. But nope - thanks to some family and friends - the obsession has begun.
From early on, Evan has named objects by the sounds they make. Example a "clock" was never a "clock" but a "tick tock tick tock", a "bear" was a "roar" and a "train" was always a "chugga chugga chugga", until last week. The "chugga chugga chugga" has developed into:
"chugga, chugga, coo, coo"
So now, when Evan plays with his new train tracks, I will hear over and over again: "chugga, chugga, coo, coo, chugga, chugga, coo, coo."
"Hey mom, come see my coo coo trains!", I will hear several hundred times a day. Yes Evan I see your "coo coo" trains and I might just end up on one of those crazy trains!
