Recently Evan has started calling people names. Not bad names but names nonetheless. I guess it has stemmed from Jeremy calling him "knuckle head" and me telling him he is a "silly goose" and someone along the line has called him a "nut" (not sure who) but it is evident since he is using that term often. But he has changed it up a little bit. Some of his faves right now are "nut head", "puma head", "tuna head", "silly head", "puma nut" and all other combos from those previously stated names.
I am a little concerned, because he now calls EVERY ONE by a name. Daddy, me, Grandma, Babci, Jenny, Joshua, Grandpa, Poppi, random people that we meet etc. I have tried to explain to his literal, analytical mind that it isn't nice to call people names and his response, "well you guys call me silly things". Valid point kid!
He isn't being malicious or mean when name calling, he actually only calls people he likes names.
So what am I to do? What do you think? Should I put my foot down and insist that he stop or is it a big deal at this age?
